Why an accelerator

Start small, expand on purpose

The Copilot Studio Accelerator is a tiered fixed-price offering: the Starter delivers a working pilot agent within 2 calendar weeks. Add-on packages extend it with a custom action, Dynamics 365 or more users.

What is the Copilot Studio Accelerator?

A fixed-price offering by Ambit Group AG for your first AI agent built with Microsoft Copilot Studio. The Starter (CHF 5,400, 3 person-days, pilot within 2 calendar weeks) delivers an agent that answers questions from a curated SharePoint source with source references and, after confirmation, performs one action from a standard catalog. On top of it come the packages “Process” (CHF 3,600), “CRM agent” for Dynamics 365 (CHF 9,000) and “Rollout” (CHF 3,600). All prices excl. VAT, licenses and consumption.

For what AI agents built with Copilot Studio can do in general, see Beyond Chat. This page is about getting started.

The Starter

Six building blocks, one working agent

The Starter is deliberately narrow: one agent, one knowledge source, one action from a proven catalog. That is what makes the low fixed price possible – without cutting corners on testing or security.

  • Focus

One prioritized use case, one agent in your Microsoft 365 tenant.

  • Access

Teams 1:1 chat with Microsoft sign-in, German language.

  • Knowledge

One curated SharePoint source with source references. Everyone sees only what they are allowed to see.

  • Action

One action from the standard catalog.

  • Pilot

Up to ten named internal employees, no external use.

  • Quality & handover

15 test cases, a one-page operations sheet and remote training for the pilot group.

ExampleAn employee asks about the internal quote process. The agent points to the approved process description and prepares an internal request in an existing SharePoint list.

The action catalog in the Starter

  • Entry in a SharePoint listFor example a support ticket, purchase or equipment request.
  • Teams message to a defined channelFor example a heads-up to HR, IT or quality assurance.
  • Task in PlannerFor example an improvement idea or a follow-up in the team.
  • Email draft to an internal teamFor example to procurement.

Action outside the catalog or a second knowledge source? That's what the “Process” add-on is for.

What we test together

  • Typical questions
  • Source references
  • Unknown questions
  • Missing permissions
  • Confirmation before write actions
Timeline

Two weeks to your pilot

The 2 calendar weeks start once the go-ahead is met. They spread delivery and your input across a clear sequence – this does not mean 2 weeks of full-time consulting.

  1. Before

    Go-ahead

A hard gate before kickoff: the go-ahead checklist is fully met.

Your part: Name a business owner and a technical contact.

    OutcomeCommitted start.

  2. Week 1

    Sharpen and build

Refine the use case and success criteria, connect the knowledge source, configure dialog and source references, connect the action.

Your part: Provide content, review progress.

OutcomeA testable agent for your process.

  3. Week 2

    Test and hand over

Run the test cases including permissions, refine, launch the pilot with training and handover.

Your part: Test and sign off.

OutcomePilot agent, documented limits, accountable owner.

Your effort: around 1 person-day for content, access, testing and sign-off – not billed.

Add-on “CRM agent”

The agent that works inside Dynamics 365

With the “CRM agent” add-on, we connect your agent to Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Service via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It gets three defined capabilities and one write action into the CRM.

Connection
Dataverse MCP Server plus the Dynamics 365 Sales MCP Server or Customer Service MCP Server.
Scope
One role-specific agent for sales or service: three capabilities, one write action.
Security
Tested with your pilot users' Dataverse security roles: the agent only sees and changes what the person may.
Price
CHF 9,000, 5 person-days – requires a Starter. Together CHF 14,400.

Two sample flows

First check whether Microsoft's standard agent is enough

Microsoft offers its own agents for Dynamics 365, such as the Sales Qualification Agent for leads and the Case Management Agent for cases. We don't rebuild them. In the intro call, we first check whether a standard agent covers your need – we only build the CRM agent if you need something role-specific, such as a briefing in Teams chat with your own logic.

Status per Microsoft Learn (as of October 2, 2026): the Dataverse MCP Server and the Customer Service MCP Server are generally available; the Sales MCP Server can be connected in Copilot Studio. We re-check the status before every quote.

Benefits by role

What the accelerator gives every stakeholder

For each role, a pilot agent answers the question that stands before a bigger AI decision.

Executive management

The question: «Does AI pay off for us – and where exactly?»

  • A visible result in 2 weeks instead of a slide strategy.
  • Expansion stage by stage – only if the pilot convinces.

Finance / CFO

The question: «What does it really cost?»

  • Fixed price per stage, person-days disclosed – no open time-and-materials.
  • Consumption, budget and limits settled before kickoff.

Sales & service

The question: «Does it help us in our daily CRM work?»

  • Meeting briefing or case summary right in Teams chat.
  • Next step or case update without clicking around in Dynamics 365.

IT, data protection & compliance

The question: «Will it stay secure and under control?»

  • Existing tenant, approved connectors, access only per user permissions – verified in testing.
  • No shadow AI: owner, limits and escalation documented; approvals stay with you.
Pricing

The Starter is the foundation. The add-on packages require a Starter and can be booked individually or combined. Scope and price are confirmed in a binding quote.

Not included in the fixed price

  • VAT
  • Microsoft licenses and ongoing consumption (Copilot Credits)
  • Operations and support after handover
  • Additional requirements – agreed separately upfront

Deliberately out of scope

The narrow scope protects your budget and timeline. We plan these topics separately if needed:

  • ERP integrations
  • Third-party systems and custom APIs
  • External channels such as website, phone or customer chat
  • Autonomous actions without confirmation
  • Additional languages
  • Broad data cleansing or migration
  • Comprehensive governance programs or ALM rollout
  • Ongoing support and unlimited rework

In the Starter, there are also no write actions into the CRM. That's what the “CRM agent” add-on is for.

What does ongoing consumption cost?

Guide value

Copilot Studio bills in Copilot Credits. A worked example for a typical pilot:

Pilot users
10
Interactions per person per day
10
Working days per month
20
Credits per interaction (assumption)
7
Consumption per month
14,000 credits ≈ USD 140

For comparison: a capacity pack with 25,000 credits costs USD 200 per month; pay-as-you-go costs USD 0.01 per credit.

Good to know: When employees with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license use the agent internally, this triggers no consumption within fair-use limits.

Assumption of 7 credits: one generative answer (2 credits) plus one agent action (5 credits). Actual consumption depends on the agent's design; we estimate it with you before kickoff. Sources and dates

Go-ahead checklist · Starter
Additionally for the CRM agent

Probably not the right start if …

  • it is only about questions on documents – Microsoft 365 Copilot or a SharePoint agent is often enough.
  • the agent should serve external customers, your website or phone lines right away.
  • ERP integrations, third-party systems or custom APIs are at the core.
  • content first needs extensive cleansing or migration.
Your process revolves around Dynamics 365?

Then that's not a dealbreaker but a case for the “CRM agent” add-on. Add-on “CRM agent” →

No completed checklist, no start and no fixed price. That protects your timeline and your budget.

After the pilot

Use, refine or scale

At the agreed end of the pilot, we decide together how to proceed. Ongoing support can be agreed separately if needed.

01

Use

The agent stays in use, your owner maintains the knowledge.

02

See the worked example · Sources: Billing rates and management, Pay-as-you-go meters, Copilot Studio pricing (as of October 2, 2026)

Can we connect Dynamics 365?

Yes, with the “CRM agent” add-on for Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Service, connected via MCP.

Whether your Dynamics 365 licenses incur credits when the MCP tools are used is something we clarify before kickoff – Microsoft exempts certain licenses. About the CRM agent · Source: Sales MCP server overview (as of October 2, 2026)

Why not just use Microsoft's standard agent?

If it's enough, that's exactly what we recommend.

We don't rebuild agents such as the Sales Qualification Agent or the Case Management Agent; we use the CRM agent for role-specific needs. Learn more

Which Microsoft licenses do we need?

We clarify this before kickoff – there is no one-size-fits-all answer.

Copilot Studio bills in Copilot Credits (capacity packs or pay-as-you-go); the CRM agent requires Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Service. Source: Billing rates and management (as of October 2, 2026)

Why two weeks – and how much of our team's time does it take?

2 calendar weeks from go-ahead; your input is around one person-day.

See the timeline

What if the go-ahead isn't met?

Then we don't start yet and re-scope the initiative together.

See the go-ahead checklist

Does everyone in the pilot see all data?

No. The agent works with the signed-in user's permissions – in SharePoint and in Dataverse alike.

Sources: Add SharePoint as a knowledge source, Dataverse MCP FAQ (as of October 2, 2026)

Does the agent act on its own?

No. In all packages, the agent only performs a write action after the user confirms; autonomous actions are not included.

What happens after the pilot?

We decide together: use, refine or scale.
